We believe in the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God is the Supreme and Holy Creator of all things, the Master of all things. He is the only true God.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God. He came to earth and became flesh, and he was born of a virgin. He walked and lived among us without sin, was crucified, had died, and was resurrected. He is the only way to eternal salvation.
We believe that the Father sent the Holy Spirit to dwell within us, and that He is actively leading and guiding those who will allow Him to do so.
We believe that the Bible is the complete, inspired and inerrant Word of God.
About Us
Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Duane Murray
Pastor Duane is a Las Vegas native, and he and his wife, Shon, happily call it home. They are the proud parents of two sons, Duane Jr. and Nijel.
In 1995, he began a career with the Clark County Fire Department. His time as a First Responder opened his eyes to a community full of broken and hurting people whose very survival was dependent on being rescued. In 2019, Pastor Duane responded to God’s new call on his life to serve Living Word Church LV as its Senior Pastor. In 2020, he retired from from the CCFD as a Fire Captain—excited and ready for the opportunity to be a “Spiritual First Responder” for God’s Kingdom.
Pastor Duane is highly committed to the expository preaching and teaching of God’s Word. He is honored to serve the community that he and his family call home.
